Please join us at the Historic Midwest Theater on Sunday, May 7 at 6:00 p.m. to kick off National Tourism Week with Tim and Lisa Trudell, the authors of 100 Things to Do in Nebraska Before You Die. They will share bucket list adventures that are right here in Nebraska including our very own Historic Midwest Theater!

 

Book Description - 100 Things to Do in Nebraska 2nd Edition
Explore the birthplaces of Nebraska-centric events, such as the Old West Balloon Festival and O’Neill’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Remember the people, from visiting Johnny Carson’s hometown to the birthplace of civil rights leader Malcolm X. Authors Bio -
Tim and Lisa Trudell, residents of southwest Omaha, own the travel blog The Walking Tourists. Lisa was a travel professional for more than 16 years and currently works as an online marketing specialist for an in-home care company. Tim is a freelance writer and an enrolled member of the Santee Dakota Nation. A US Air Force veteran, Tim currently writes for outlets such as Indian Country Today, Nebraska Magazine, Flatwater Free Press, Next Avenue, TravelAwaits, Extended Weekend Getaways, Nebraska Life and Living Here Midwest. He is also the photographer, editor and author of the blog. When not traveling they love to continue to share their love of their city and state.
