Did you know that not all park rangers do the same job? There are geologists, botanists, interpreters, maintenance specialists, fire crew, law enforcement officers, and budget analysts...just to name a few.

Bring the whole family out for a dual-park hosted, hands-on event on Saturday, April 8th from 10-2pm. Park rangers from Agate Fossil Beds National Monument & Scotts Bluff National Monument will help junior rangers try their hand at the variety of jobs offered in the NPS.

Six booths, including an NPS fire truck and an NPS police car, will each have hands-on activities. Complete them all? You will earn both the Scotts Bluff and Agate Fossil Beds Jr Ranger badges! 2 badges in one place?? Outstanding!! Hope to see you there.
