The Communities for Kids Initiative (C4K) was created in Gering, in Scotts Bluff County. This program was created in response to a shortage in high-quality early care and education programs. C4K partners with the region’s public and private sectors to coordinate and plan access to high-quality early care and education for all children up to eight years old.
