Nebraska State Patrol

  • Troop E headquartered in Scottsbluff.
  • Serves 11 Southern Panhandle Counties
  • 52 sworn officers, 23 of which are stationed in the Scottsbluff area.
  • 10 civilian support personnel.

West Nebraska Juvenile Services Facility

  • 13-bed rehabilitative, co-residential, secure facility for juvenile law offenders.
  • Employs approximately 18 persons, including corrections officers, office personnel, program related staff & management.

Scotts Bluff County Department of Corrections

  • Staffed by 26 employees.
  • Is certified to house federal prisoners.
  • Has a maximum capacity of 64 inmates.
  • House arrest program & work release program are in effect.

Consolidated Communications Center

  • Centrally located in Scotts Bluff County Administration Building
  • Serves all residents in Scotts Bluff County.
  • Also serves Southern Sioux & Northern Banner Counties.
  • Dispatch for all Police, Fire, & Medical Services.
  • Receives & dispatches calls for 30 agencies.
