Text Box: Twin Cities Development held their first Annual Meeting since the Board of Directors was reorganized in 2000, with 9 Directors serving 2, 4, & 6 year staggered terms.
At the meeting, held on September 16, 2003 at the Scotts Bluff Country Club, new Directors were elected, replacing three Directors whose 2 year terms expire 9-30-03.
Outgoing Directors included Joyce Hillman-Kortum, Irvin Rushall, and Stan Walker.  Eleven names were placed on the ballot, following adText Box: vertisements soliciting prospective members, and the three Directors were elected from TCD’s membership base of 146 businesses.     
New Directors will begin their tenure October 1, 2003 and will serve for six years.  They are:  Dr. John Harms, President of WNCC; Steve Olsen, Attorney at Simmons, Olsen Law Firm; and Stan Walker of Walker Farms. Other Directors are Shane Aulick, Owen Palm, Joe Schon, Bill Trumbull, Bob Unzicker, and Dewey Zerr.
Text Box:  New officers were also elected for the 2003-04 fiscal year.  They are:  President, Bob Unzicker; Vice President, Bill Trumbull; and Secretary/Treasurer, Joe Schon.  
The retiring Board Members were presented with framed photographs of the Scotts Bluff National  Monument and were thanked for their participation during the past two years.
Since the Annual Meeting, Board Director Shane Aulick requested that he be replaced due to the business expansion of Text Box: business loan.”  Having a complete business plan available shows lenders that you have assessed the potential success of your business proposal and helps them determine if your business will have enough cash flow to repay a loan.

New Owners for Stylite Lighting

New owners Travis HIner, Jim and Bill Trumbull, and  Brent Holliday are excited about their new venture.  
The California-based lighting company is a $1 million dollar business, with such clients as Pizza Hut, Budweiser, and Harley Davidson.
The City of Scottsbluff Text Box: assisted the company with the relocation through LB840 funds, and the company currently employs 15 people in the manufacturing facility, including new general manager, Joe Schon.
Text Box: Stylite Lighting in Scottsbluff has new owners and a new general manager.
HTH Holdings, dba Stylite Lighting (formerly Taylor River Company), relocated to Scottsbluff from Fort Collins, CO in June 2002.  The company, who  set up operations in the former Carr-Trumbull building, manufactures billiard and tiffany style

Stylite Lighting  is a $1 million dollar Scotts-bluff  business.

NEW PATHWAYS FOR TCD

Aulick Leasing, acquiring the Western Sugar beet re-haul contract.  Paul Reed was appointed by the Board to fulfill the remaining four years of Shane’s six-year term.
