Monument Valley Pathways
A 2.8 mile paved system situated along the North Platte River that extends west and east, from the YMCA to Riverside Zoo.
Open to walkers, bicyclists, and skaters.

GERING:
Gering Pathway
A paved system that extends from “U” Street in Gering to the Scotts Bluff National Monument west of Gering.
Provides the bicyclist/hiker a scenic view of the natural area.

Cedar Canyon State Wildlife Area

Located south of Gering, 4 miles west of Highway 71, on Carter Canyon Road; then 1 1/2 miles south on County Road 17, and 1 mile west to parking area.
Offers hiking, biking, and hunting. For more information, call (308) 436-7777.

MELBETA:
Buffalo Creek
Located south of Melbeta, which is east of Scottsbluff, on County Road X and Highway 26.
Open to the public for hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission stocks and manages the 7 acre pond.
