The "Twin Cities" of Scottsbluff and Gering, Nebraska are truly the "gateway" to the Front Range region of Colorado, as well as Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Historical and recreational attractions include Scotts Bluff National Monument, Robidoux Trading Post, the Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, Chimney Rock National Historical Site, Jailhouse and Courthouse Rock, the Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds, and Lake Minatare.
